Now

I am back to campus after 11 months of staying inside home.

I am reading “the Art of Failure” by Jesper Juul and carrying on my PhD work. Time for the main study!

In addition, I got some new gizmos for meself. Behold the Perixx Periboard ergonomic keyboard. I am just breaking into the new keyboard, finding things a bit tough, but it seems I am really helping my hand years (as Rohit says).

I am learning quite some new things about myself as I reflect on my indoor stay and read Thich Nhat Hanh. I think, my brother is right when he says, lockdown is the best time to stop performing, start being with self, and live a reflexive life. I have started reading સૌરાષ્ટૃ ની રસધાર.

Talking about my work…

About my research, I am rethinking about my plan for the main study as I focus on some strucutal aspects on games. Thoughts are scattered, but they exist. Planning to write articles and blogs about my thoughts here. Once a week, at least.

I have rebooted my zettelkasten, but in conjunction to pen-paper mode where things are faster. I am also back to whiteboarding.

Apart from that, I am working with several of my friends to get their work sold on the NFT market place. Figuring out a strategy and positioning their work in this indie scene. Honestly, it is not happening at the rate at which I had hoped it would go. But I guess, patience and constant attempt is the secret sauce.

From making aspect of me, I am looking at play from the attention economics viewpoint and been making some critical artefacts–some Indie, some collab with artists.

I am making a webcam based timelapse to record a plant’s growth. I have been quite loving this aspect of myself where I seeing something grow. It has also been helping me see my growth and in turn helping me reflect.

Untill I am habituated with this transformation, I will not update this now page.
